Bio

Annabel Daou’s paper-and-tape based constructions, sound pieces, and performances explore the language of power and intimacy. Daou was born and raised in Beirut and lives in Brooklyn. Recent projects and exhibitions include: WHEN IN THE COURSE OF HUMAN EVENTS, at signs and symbols, New York; and I will worry for you (from dusk till dawn), a 12 hour performance in which she paced the hallway of her apartment with a set of worry beads in her hands and other people’s worries on her mind.
